Chinese Lieutenant General He Lei has reaffirmed China's stance in response to Mattis saying the US will help Taiwan build its defense capacity.
HE LEI, VICE PRESIDENT CHINA's ACADEMY OF MILITARY SCIENCES OF PLA "The Chinese government and its people will never allow anyone, any party or organization, to separate any part of Chinese territory in any way or any time. The People's Liberation Army has the determination, confidence, and ability to safeguard our national sovereignty, security, unity and interests of development."
