Ahead of the first China International Import Expo, we are delivering a 4-episode series we're calling "The Voices of Global Giants". We've invited CEOs from industry leaders like Microsoft, Honeywell and L'Oreal, among others, to share their expectations of the CIIE. In today's third episode, we ask the CEOs from Porsche, Bosch, and Honeywell, about their thoughts on the CIIE and what they have to offer.
JENS PUTTFARCKEN CEO OF PORSCHE CHINA "I think it's a strong sign for China to create this import expo, that's good because we're not just displaying goods but also a picture and mirror of different cultures. While importing cars, we're German brand and German thinking is part of our brand. This exchange of culture inspire exchange of goods and the possibility to talk to each other. So I think to have this on a regular basis is a very good thing."
CHEN YUDONG CEO OF BOSCH CHINA "Bosch is number one automotive system and component supplier globally, we'll showcase our product focusing on two areas, electrification and autonomous driving. We'll provide the unique brake solutions for autonomous car and hybrid car, using different configuration in automotive industry. So overall we'll bring best technology to China for Chinese OEMs."
SHEN BIN CEO OF HONEYWELL CHINA "We'll keep bringing advanced technology and solutions to China, and breed them here. For example, we're an innovative company in the aeroplane internet area. Our aviation equipment research team has a long history and strong competitiveness. They are based in Phoenix in the USA, but gaining customers globally.
