For a sense of just how much the expo means to traders and business groups, CGTN spoke face to face with participants at the heart of the Shanghai fair. In today's program, we hear from Israel's science minister and some of the trade show's leading exhibitors.

AKUNIS OFIR ISRAELI MINISTER OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & SPACE "The inspiration for the good trade between Israel and China is reflected in the increase numbers of trade. 11 billion USD, this is the trade between Israel and China, and it's only the beginning."

GUO GUANGCHANG CHAIRMAN OF FOSUN GROUP "The most pragmatical fruit of this Expo for us is that our robot Da Vinci has reached a sales of 110 million USD up till now. Also, this Expo is a business platform and a display of China's willing to buy from the world, to introduce global quality goods to Chinese consumers."

ALAIN DURANTE CEO OF FLORIHANA "This year, after so many days we are still so surprised. We already booked the same place for next year. We want to participate next year."

SEBASTIAN KRAUS CEO OF BODYGUARDPHARM "We had a lot of deals and potential buyers, and the Chinese customers love our products. So this Expo is a great success, it's the most successful expo we ever joined worldwide or in China. So we definitely want to come back next year, so I hope we can get the reservation, because it's amazing."
