Two killed, three injured in shooting spree in California, suspect arrested

Two people were killed, three others injured in a shooting spree in Lake County, California, on Monday, officials said, identifying the suspect as 61-year-old Alan Ashmore.
The shooting happened at around 11:23 p.m. local time (0623 GMT Tuesday), when Ashmore shot into several residences in the same block, killing two people at different locations on the street. 
Lake County Sheriff Brian Martin confirmed that, in addition to the two fatalities, two civilians were also wounded on the same block.
All injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested the suspect in a rural area on High Valley Road on two counts of homicide as well as multiple other counts of assault with a firearm.
