China-US Ties: Senior Chinese official to visit US, trade and business to be discussed

Being invited by the U.S. government, Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, General Office Director of the Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, is going to visit the U.S. from February 27th to March 3rd. The two sides are expected to exchange views on China-U.S. relationship, trade and business cooperation. On the U.S. side, the talks will be led by its President Donald Trump's trade envoy, Robert Lighthizer. The discussions will take place as Donald Trump considers new tariffs on steel imports.
