Wu Yingnan, a talented Chinese designer who graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, has been focusing her efforts on improving three things in the fashion world: Empty luxury, mass trends, and impetuous fashions.

Some mainstream media categorize Wu Yingnan as an independent designer who truly creates fashion. Having worked in the Fashion Group and being immersed in the field of fashion for years, Wu Yingnan herself prefers to be called a founder, or an artist.

"It gives me the feeling of 'no making without breaking' courage, continuously exploring spirit, and sustainable managing efforts. I truly value these qualities," Wu said while being asked about her personal recognition. "This label is also a recognition for the things I do, the brand I made, and the products I created. I think that entrepreneurs are artists, and their works are the enterprises," she added.

Wu launched her own brand hoping that this brand can be full of regeneration, creativity and innovation and it has gained popularity among Chinese celebrities, such as well-known actresses Fan Binbin and Angelababy.

Also last year, at the invitation of Disney, Wu launched a dope Star Wars-inspired collection of shoes, wallets and totes – reflecting designer Wu Yingnan’s own "badass" attitude to fashion.

For years, Wu has still maintained her mischievous side as she is keen on collecting various gadgets. The design of Monster Series bags is a proof of this. 

When comes to her design concept, Wu said her state of mind is that "do not give up the ability of being naughty, and constantly strengthen the naughtiness, enjoy it at the same time." She hopes she can always maintain this sophisticated spirit of naughtiness. "Just like the characteristics of my brand. My brand is me, and I am my brand."

Now, Wu is satisfied with her previous works, but never looks back either: "I think the best design will always be the next one."
