Deputies to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) from northeast China's Heilongjiang Province arrived in Beijing at 7:20 a.m. on Friday by train.

This is the first group of deputies from outside the capital to arrive.

The 13th National People's Congress will begin its first annual session in the capital on Monday, and will be attended by a total of 2,980 deputies.
