In 1917, about 140,000 workers, known as "the forgotten of the forgotten," traveled from China to Europe to help Britain and its allies to victory. April 5 marks the 100th Qingming Festival after the First World War and it is only now that the untold stories of the Chinese Labour Corps are being gradually unveiled.
