China’s Jack Ma said that he found inspiration to Alibaba’s model in the script of a Hollywood movie. “Forrest Gump said ‘go ahead, never care what other people (say)’,” the founder of the China’s e-commerce titan said at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort town of Davos. Alibaba has been investing in the US’s entertainment sector, with the Chinese company’s media arm, Alibaba Pictures Group Limited buying in October a minority equity stake in Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners.
