At least 37 people have died in a fire in a shopping mall in Siberia. According to TASS news agency, 69 others, including 40 children, are missing. On Sunday afternoon, fire ripped through the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo, some 3,600 kilometers east of Moscow. More than 100 people were evacuated. The flames spread across more than 1,000 square meters in the complex. It boasts an entertainment center for children on the top of the building, a multiplex cinemam and a bowling alley that was packed. Some 300 firefighters and rescue personnel rushed to the scene and the fire was brought under control.
