O'Sullivan produced a dominant performance in the final, racing to a 7-0 lead. Trump pulled back the last two frames of the first session to trail 7-2, but any thoughts of a remarkable comeback were effectively ended in the opening frame of the last session, which O'Sullivan claimed the break of 108.
Trump made it 8-3, but five-time-world-champion O'Sullivan won next two frames to secure a 10-3 victory.

The 30th ranking title left him second on the all-time list, just six behind Stephen Hendry's 36th, but ahead of John Higgins' 29th. The world No.7 collected a cheque for £150,000 after winning his second ranking tournament of the season following a 9-2 triumph over Kyren Wilson in the English Open in Barnsley last month. He was also a beaten finalist in the Hong Kong Masters and Champion of Champions last week.
