The Chinese Football Association (CFA) is pushing ahead with a series of reform measures, and on Tuesday welcomed a new face to the organization: Du Zhaocai, appointed secretary of the CPC Committee within the CFA.
Du will combine his new role with that of assistant to the president of China's General Administration of Sports, a position he was given just six days ago.

Meanwhile, CFA has also announced new regulations on transfer fees for Chinese league clubs. The new stipulations say that transfer fees for foreign players should not exceed 45 million yuan, while domestic player transfers are limited to 20 million yuan.
In addition, for every incoming transfer, clubs will be obliged to invest an equal amount of money in their respective youth development programs.
If a player's transfer exceeds the new restrictions, clubs will have to pay a transfer adjustment fee toCFA, with the proceeds going towards a Chinese football development fund.
