A funeral ceremony was held on Friday for traffic policeman Fethi Sekin and courthouse employee Musa Can, who were killed in a terrorist attack near the main courthouse in Turkey's western coastal city of Izmir on Thursday.
Sekin, 43, has been declared a national hero as he tried the best to prevent a greater loss of life in an attack.
Hundreds of people gathered for a memorial service to them, observing a minute of silence and singing the national anthem.
Attendees were seen waiting outside in the cold, wet weather, with umbrellas and rain jackets, to pay their respects.
