As if a glimmering aurora, or nocturnal rainbow, is not enough magnificent visual feast yet, a photographer from Iceland has been recently treated with even more mesmerizing view where a group of neon green northern lights overlapped a rainbow in the starry night sky. /Huanqiu.com Photo
Sigurdur William Brynjarsson, a 42-year-old veteran photographer, came across the phenomenon when he was out chasing the northern lights in Keflavik. Appreciating the green lights dancing above a rain cloud against the city skyline, Sigurdur suddenly caught sight of a kaleidoscope rainbow which emerged after a storm and illuminated in echo to the aurora. /Huanqiu.com Photo
"We had a full moon and heavy rain clouds with great gaps in between, and a beautiful display of the northern lights dancing above us, so it was just a matter of getting to the right place and to be on the lookout for it," the photographer who is experienced in photography around the island was quoted as saying by the Caters News Agency, adding the full moonbow was definitely his favorite shot. /Huanqiu.com Photo
