G20 can find common ground on trade issue , says WTO chief

Despite wide disagreement, the G20 summit can still find common ground when it comes to the issue of trade, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Roberto Azevedo told CGTN’s Wang Hui.
He expressed belief that the new US administration is not opposed to trade but is only showing concern about how trade has been done recently, noting that President Donald Trump seeking renegotiation of the terms. Azevedo said that such procedure requires consensus and agreement from all sides.
Talking about trade between the US and China, Azevedo said that the world's two major economies need to understand each other, noting that the only way to do so is through thorough dialogue.
