Chinese student reported missing in UK confirmed dead

London police have confirmed the death of a female Chinese student who was reported missing earlier, according to Chinese Embassy in the UK.

Yan Sihong, 36, was a PhD student at King's College London. Her family lost contact with her on Feb. 17.

The police have informed Yan's next of kin.

An investigation into her death is ongoing but it is currently not being treated as suspicious.
