Police have identified the suspected gunman in Sunday night's deadly shooting in Las Vegas as Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada.
Paddock, 64, was living in a retirement community and had no criminal record.
In a press briefing, police said the shooter was acting alone.
“We believe it’s a solo actor. A lone wolf, ” Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told media.
Police found a female person of interest identified as Marilou Danley, who was traveling with Paddock before the shooting, but later believed she was unrelated.
On Sunday night, a gunman opened fire at crowds gathering at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, leaving more than 50 people dead and over 400 others injured.
