The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) on Monday announced it will maintain the suspension of the Russian Paralympic Committee, but allow some Russian Para athletes to compete as Neutral Paralympic Athletes in the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

The IPC announced the decision in a press conference in Bonn, Germany when giving the updated status of Russia's progress in meeting criteria to restore its membership. The team was suspended following allegations against the country for running a systematic doping scheme.
