Now for more on this production and the role of women in the theatre. Our reporter Zhang Nini sat down with South African producer and director Napo Masheane. She told us how she developed own story into something that most women could share and relate to.
"Ms. Masheane, thank you for taking our interview, I just got a glimpse of your inspiring play, The Fat Black Women Sing. In fact, they have been singing on international stages for almost a decade, and to great receptions. Tell me, what are your inspirations?"
