A military aircraft crashed during training in southwest China's Guizhou Province Monday afternoon, China's Air Force has confirmed.

Videos were posted on Weibo showing a plane crashing followed by a loud sound as it hit the ground in Suiyang County of Guizhou Province. It is yet to be confirmed if it was the same aircraft. Black fume from the debris of the plane and rescue vehicles were also seen in the video. 

Casualties are feared while a rescue operation is underway.

Local authorities have secured the site for rescue operation.
