Three bombs exploded in different locations in the capital of Rakhine, the troubled Myanmar state, early on Saturday morning, AFP reported citing a police source.
"Three bombs exploded and three other unexploded bombs were found," AFP said citing a senior officer in Sittwe.
It said that nobody was killed, but added, "a police officer was injured but not seriously."
The extent of any physical damage was not immediately clear, neither was the motive behind the attack.
The blasts occurred at around 4:00 a.m. in the compound of the state government secretary's home at an office and on a road leading towards the beach, the officer told AFP.
