Temple Street in the Yau Ma Tei  area is the last remaining Night Market in Hong Kong, which has been here since the 1920s. 
During the heat of summer in Hong Kong, the best way to entertain in the evening was to go out “shopping.”  It is from this tradition going to night markets derived.

Temple Street is very long, and there are hundreds of stalls, where people can buy cheap goods. The street is also known as Men’s Street because many stuff here are for men, such as electronics, T-shirts and belts. But over time the bargains expanded to include women.

Nowadays, Temple Street has become a tourism attraction for more foreigners than locals.

Shopping is not the only part of leisure on the night market.
Many food stands are also found here, alongside fortune tellers and DVD shops.
