The international community is eyeing this year's upcoming G20 summit when the heads of China and the US will meet for talks about the ongoing trade war. The Ambassador of Mozambique to China shared her expectations for the meeting with CGTN.
MARIA GUSTAVA AMBASSADOR OF MOZAMBIQUE TO CHINA "China-US trade relations are crucial not only for the two countries, but also the world's economy. I hope the two sides can reach a reasonable and mutually beneficial outcome on a peaceful, equal and negotiable basis. China and the US hold the greatest share of the world's trade. Any friction between the two countries will have a ripple effect, especially on those developing countries whose national economies and foreign trade are relatively fragile."
