[]
Over to golf from Singapore and the LPGA's world championship. China's Feng Shanshan is one of many golfers affected by the weather conditions. The world number one only getting 15 holes in when the opening round was suspended due to lightning. American Jennifer Song did not seem to be bothered by the environment, getting to minus-7 through 17 completed holes to grab the lead.
This is how things stand with the second round coming to a close. Danielle Kang has surged into the lead, sitting at 12-under, after her 8-under 64 today. Alex Marina and Nelly Korda are at minus-8. China's Feng Shanshan is four-under. First round leader Song was 3-over today, and is well back now. We will have an update on the next edition of Sports Scene.
To Mexico for the men and the first WGC event of the season. China's Li Haotong birdies 15, his sixth hole, to get to even par. But later finishes two-over, 9 off the pace.
England's Chris Paisley playing well in Mexico city, from the fringe he is able to tweet on 14, which drops him to minus-six and in contention for top spot.
Shubhankar Sharma matches that round with a 65 of his own, thanks to chip-ins like this on number one for an eagle. The Indian golfer amongst a group tied for second.
Sergio Garcia also in the mix - El Nino birdies the 12th hole to get to 4-under, and finishes his round in a tie for 8th, four back of the leader.
Which is this man -- Louis Oosthuizen, the former British Open winner, shooting his best-ever round at a WGC event, a 7-under 64. He was money with his iron play, this approach on 15 sets him up for an eagle.
So the South African leads a trio of golfers by a single shot after the opening 18 holes. Spain's John Rahm and Garcia among those near the top of the leaderboard. Defending champion Dustin Johnson is five back at minus-two.
