As temperatures continue to climb, the Hukou Waterfall along the Yellow River has embraced its spring deluge, also known as the "peach flower deluge". The waterfall volume this year, however, has been overwhelming, flooding many tourist areas. Even so, some photographers haven't let this deter them from taking pictures of the waterfall from a distance.

The Hukou Waterfall is located at the intersection of northern China’s Shanxi and Shaanxi Provinces. The Yellow River becomes narrow as it travels through this area and culminates with a magnificent waterfall pouring over the cliff edge. It's the world's largest yellow waterfall and the second largest waterfall in China.
Now one and a half months into spring, with temperatures gradually rising, the ice near the source of the Yellow River has melted, causing flooding at the Hukou Waterfall. Local authorities say the water volume at the waterfall has increased to around 2,000 cubic meters per second, three times more than last spring.

The Hukou Waterfall also sits at the Jin-Shaan Grand Canyon, where peach flowers often blossom at this time of year. Therefore, local people also call it the"peach flower deluge". It’s a great time for visitors to enjoy the views of the roaring waterfall alongside the beautiful peach flowers in the region.
