Xinjiang artists exhibit their work at Cairo exhibition

Egyptians were treated to performances and art from China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at the 2017 Experience China Xinjiang series in Cairo over the weekend.
Xinjiang is famous for the culture and customs of diverse ethnic minority groups, as well as the spectacular natural landscapes.
Many types of unusual stringed and percussion instruments are used in Xinjiang music.
The show was organized by the Chinese government to promote the northwestern region.
