Poverty alleviation has been listed as one of China's "three tough battles" for the next three years. The Chinese Finance Ministry will allocate 106.1 billion yuan in 2018 to tackle poverty, and the government will strengthen supervision on the use of special funds, said Vice Minister of Finance Hu Jinglin during a press conference at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress, China’s national legislature.
