Russia's new Ambassador Alexey Yerkhov has arrived in the Turkish capital of Ankara. Local media reported that relevant credentials will be handed over on Monday.
Upon his arrival, Yerkhov is scheduled to attend a special meeting of the parliament, on occasion of the anniversary of last year's coup attempt.
His predecessor, Andrey Karlov, was gunned down on December 19th, 2016, as he opened a photo exhibition in the capital city.
