Staff at a panda conservation center in southwest China recaptured a giant panda who had been previously released in the Liziping Nature Reserve to monitor its physical condition. Tao Tao was found to be in good health and weighed 115 kilograms. The panda was born on August 3, 2010 in a semi-wild environment. He is the first panda released into the wild to acquire survival skills without any human intervention.
