The subway features carriages decorated with artistic pictures including animated golden fish, blooming lotus flowers as well as the traditional Chinese oil-paper umbrellas.

Aside from facilitating traffic in Fuzhou by connecting over 20 important stations, the 24-kilometer subway line also hopes to demonstrate the city's distinctive culture.
