US tech giant Apple and its subsidiary in South Korea are facing the third class-action lawsuit for purposely slowing down older generations of iPhones.
About 64-thousand South Korean users are suing the company, demanding around 12 million dollars in total for compensation in what is the country's biggest ever class-action lawsuit. Apple had denied all the charges when a local civic group filed the lawsuits in January and March. These legal actions are coming after Apple admitted that they slowed older iPhones. And it has been under fire as the maneuver was widely believed to aim for better sales.
