South Korea's presidential office has announced it will offer to hold high-level talks, with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The office said Seoul will extend an offer today, with a proposed date scheduled for March 29. The talks are expected to focus on the date and other details for an inter-Korean summit scheduled in April. The office said the Minister of Unification, Cho Myung-gyun, will be the chief delegate for the meeting. South Korean President Moon Jae-in also said a three-way summit with the DPRK and the US is possible.
This comes after Seoul and Pyongyang agreed that a 160-member art troupe from South Korea will visit the DPRK from March 31st to April 3rd.
