China Open provides platform for high quality events

The China Open will come to an end on Sunday after a week of action that has attracted thousands of fans to the National Tennis Center in Beijing, especially during the National Day holiday.
Having been established as one of Beijing's symbolic events, the China Open has attracted not only world-class tennis stars, but also fans from around the world. And the success of the tournament has helped provide a platform for other high-quality sports events.

The players also use the opportunity to explore the Asian market. Rafael Nadal is one of those who has opened a tennis academy in China that will help train local youngsters.
To keep the tournament sustainable, the China Open has developed a system for employing ball boys and girls that gives chances to kids from other countries. "I'm quite excited and lucky to be assigned to the China Open. It was the first time for me to be a ball boy. I hope I can learn from the experience."
