Justin Lin Yifu, Professor and Honorary Dean of Peking University's National School of Development, said on Tuesday at the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) that Japan needs to actively join the Belt and Road Initiative and build infrastructure in third world regions to boost its overseas investment as a solution to the country's economic problems.
