The "Cheshire's Cat Room", the "Queen's Croquet-Ground" and the "Chessboard Theater". Does any of this ring a bell? CGTN's Li Qiong takes us to the exhibition, "Alice into the Rabbit Hole".
Whether it's through the novel, animation or movies, people around the world are no stranger to the story of Alice in Wonderland.
And now, some scenes from the story are brought to life in Beijing.
LI QIONG BEIJING "You see the colorful, magical gobo on the wall? This is a simulation of the rabbit hole. Visitors can imagine themselves as little Alice. And now, let's start our journey by dropping down into the hole."
The exhibition first kicked off in South Korea by Media N Art. Twenty-three artists joined hands to depict their versions of Alice's Wonderland.
Using advanced technology and the latest techniques, the exhibition became a sensation after thousands of South Korean visitors shared their pictures online.
And here in Beijing, it has become a must-see paradise for girls.
"We have been here for more than 20 minutes and found it a perfect place to take photos, like Alice's Room, the Blossom, and the room full of mirrors. They are so much fun."
Organizers say the visitors are mostly aged between 22 and 35, as well as kids. Different from traditional exhibitions, the immersive experience encourages people to engage in the creation.
ZHOU QIAN, MANAGER BEIJING EXHIBITION OF "ALICE INTO THE RABBIT HOLE" "The settings on display are always the same, but they appear differently in different pictures, as each visitor has his or her own perspective and understanding of the wonderland. When they post the photos online, like WeChat or Instagram, they help promote the exhibition."
LI QIONG BEIJING "Of course, this wonderland is an ideal setting for girls to take pictures. But if you're interested in exploring more, here's a game in the Cheshire Cat Room. See how many cats you can find hidden in the woods with just a torch."
And, celebrating your "unbirthday", 364 days in a year, only in Alice's Wonderland.
"We designed a man-machine interaction equipment. You type in your birthday here, like this.  And a note comes out. You'll get a random quote from the novel. Sometimes the words would touch you or you could find something in common."
The exhibition "Alice into the Rabbit Hole" runs through July 9th in Beijing. After that, it will tour in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other southern Chinese cities in the coming three years. LQ, CGTN, BJ.
