Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a speech upon his arrival at Hong Kong airport at noon on Thursday, ahead of a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

Xi will be in Hong Kong from Thursday to Saturday and will also attend the inauguration of Hong Kong's new chief executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor and her cabinet.
