The Israeli military says one of its F-16 fighter jets has crashed in Israel after being hit by Syrian anti-air fire. Remains of the F-16 were seen near the village of Harduf, in the north of the country. The pilot of the jet has been reported safe. The Israeli Defence Force has been carrying out attacks against Iranian targets that launched an unmanned aircraft into Israel from Syria. An Israeli military spokesman tweeted that the IDF has targeted Iranian control systems in Syria, that sent the UAV into Israeli airspace. Syria's state media says its air defences repelled an Israeli raid on a military base in the centre of the country, hitting more than one Israeli warplane.
