Guo Yezhou, vice minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, answered a question from an Associated Press of Pakistan reporter about the role inter-party exchanges have played in improving bilateral relations between China and neighboring countries. Guo said China has paid special attention to promoting bilateral relationships in political and cultural exchanges, which have helped foster practical cooperation and consensus. Guo was speaking at a press conference on CPC's international exchanges on Saturday at the 19th CPC National Congress in Beijing.
