Brazilian President Michel Temer arrives in Xiamen for BRICS Summit

Brazilian President Michel Temer arrived in Xiamen on Sunday to attend the BRICS Summit, which will be held in the coastal Chinese city from September 3 to 5.
Leaders from the five BRICS member countries, as well as from Egypt, Guinea, Mexico, Tajikistan and Thailand, will gather in the eastern city to discuss cooperation.
On Friday in Beijing, President Xi Jinping held a welcome ceremony for President Temer as he started a six-day official visit to China.
The Brazilian leader said his country will fully support China in holding the BRICS Summit and make joint efforts with China to promote the development of BRICS cooperation.
