NPC to hold plenary meeting, vote on draft amendment to Constitution

The third plenary meeting of the first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) is scheduled to be held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Top legislator Zhang Dejiang will deliver the work report of the Standing Committee of the NPC at the meeting.
The deputies will vote on the draft constitutional amendment during the meeting.
Adopted in 1982, the current Constitution has been amended four times – 1988, 1993, 1999 and 2004.
