A fire started by lightning which blazed through 15 square kilometers of forest in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been put out, local authorities said on Sunday. Around 4,000 firefighters from Inner Mongolia and neighboring Heilongjiang Province, together with a dozen helicopters were dispatched to extinguish the blaze, which started on Thursday.
