Spring Festival Gala: CCTV's annual Chinese New Year program to take place tonight

China Central Television has released the program list for this year's Spring Festival Gala scheduled tonight. The list contains 42 programs, with various art forms including singing, dancing, acrobatics, cross-talks, martial arts and even a magic show.
Shows will be staged in five venues: the main stage is at CCTV in Beijing, and others in southwest China's Guizhou province, east China's Shandong province, and Guangdong and Hainan in south China.
The annual Spring Festival Gala takes place on the eve of Chinese New Year. With hundreds of millions tuning in, the CCTV Spring Festival gala is widely considered the world's most watched television program.
