Nerve Agent Attack Aftermath: Kremlin 'regrets' EU decision to recall Russia envoy over poisoning case

The European Union recalled its envoy to Russia on Friday as a show of support to Britain over the nerve agent attack on a former Russian spy.
The EU envoy, German diplomat Markus Ederer was summoned on Thursday night to consult with Brussels before the announcement on Friday. The Kremlin says it regrets the EU's decision. European Union leaders are now repeating Britain's official wording, saying "it is highly likely that the Russian Federation is responsible and that there is no plausible alternative explanation" for the March 4 nerve agent attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in England.
