The annual US-ROK military drills kicked off on Sunday. This comes after DPRK leader Kim Jong Un and ROK President Moon Jae-in agreed to hold a historic meeting this month. The annual drills, known as Foal Eagle and Key Resolve, usually involve ground, air, naval and special operations troops, and run for almost two months. However, this year, for the first time ever, the length of the drills will be cut by half.
