This lioness at Kunming Zoo set a great example for all mothers with the way she cared for her five cubs in southwest China's Kunming City. The five cubs weighed just 2.5 kilograms at birth, but under the delicate nurturing and supervision of their mother, they grew to around six kilograms in only two months. The cubs' father does not live with his family because of safety concerns, but, when the young lions grow up, the whole family will live together.
