Electric vehicles functioned well at high altitude in a challenging race in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Wednesday during the 2017 Tour of Qinghai Lake electric vehicle challenge. All the racing cars had to cover a total journey of 241 kilometers. The entire route was divided into three sections to test the electric cars' climbing capacity, power saving capacity and design appearance.
