Chinese Premier Li Keqiang told US President Donald Trump that China welcomes the United States to expand trade in services and export more high-tech products, so that the world's two largest economies can achieve win-win results.
Premier Li made the remarks during his meeting with Trump at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Thursday, saying that both countries should further open up to each other.
China and the US should properly handle differences and frictions and create a good business environment typified by fair competition, he stressed.

Li said the two countries have great potential to enhance cooperation because their interests are deeply interwoven, adding that China and the US can carry out "highly complementary" and "relatively balanced" cooperation.
Both countries shoulder responsibilities to maintain peace and stability and prosperity in the region and across the world, the Chinese premier stressed.
Li and Trump will attend the 12th East Asia Summit in the Philippine capital Manila next week. Li said he hopes the summit will contribute to regional stability, cooperation and development.
Trump called on the two countries to strengthen cooperation and address challenges together. Efforts should be made to build fair and balanced economic and trade relations between the US and China, he noted.

Referring to the ongoing crisis with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Trump said he believed "things will happen".
"I think you're going to help us a lot with the menace of North Korea (DPRK)," he told Li.
Trump said he had tremendous meetings earlier on trade and the DPRK and that there were only warm feelings towards China.
Trump has brought more than two dozen captains of US industry with him on his trip. These major business figures represent the energy, industrial, financial services and agricultural industries.
In the past two days, deals worth a total of 253.5 billion US dollars have been agreed to, setting a record for China-US trade relations.
Trump arrived in Beijing Wednesday afternoon for a three-day state visit. It is Trump's first visit to China since he assumed the presidency in January. He is the first head of state to visit China since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump held an expanded bilateral meeting with focuses on the DPRK and trade relations earlier on Thursday, after a welcoming ceremony at the Great Hall of the People.
