The DPRK Art Troupe has arrived at the Gangneung Arts Centre ahead of its performance at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The performance will be 90 minutes long and feature aspects of DPRK culture along with elements from around the world.
This is the first such performance from a DPRK group in South Korea for 15 years and six months and will be the largest ever with more than 140 performers.
There are 998 seats available, 560 of which are for the general public through a draw system making them very difficult to obtain. Security is very tight at the venue with police cordoning off the area while media are gathered outside.
