A warmer winter has delayed the formation of ice walls along the Yellow River. But the Hukou Waterfall in north China’s Shanxi Province has finally frozen. Tourists snapped pictures of the frozen waterfall on Saturday, the first day of the Year of the Rooster. With temperatures dropping well below 0°C, water froze while gushing down, creating the illusion of a castle made of ice. Have a look!
