Thailand and the US held a vehicle-landing exercise on Saturday as part of the annual multi-nation military drill called "Cobra Gold".
More than two-thousand soldiers from the two countries participated in Saturday's exercise, along with 300 from South Korea. The week-long Cobra Gold exercise includes traditional military exercises as well as humanitarian components, such as evacuation drills. The exercise aims to enhance security cooperation, develop peacekeeping forces and maintain readiness for humanitarian aid and disaster relief missions.
